Journal Overview

Social Sciences Journal (SSJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. The journal provides an academic platform for disseminating original and high-quality research in the social sciences and related disciplines.

SSJ welcomes theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and applied studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and address contemporary social, political, economic, educational, cultural, legal, and humanitarian issues at local, national, regional, and global levels.

The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scholarship that demonstrates a clear research problem, rigorous methodology, critical analysis, ethical compliance, and an identifiable contribution to theory, policy, professional practice, or society.

National Accreditation

In 2026, Social Sciences Journal was accredited at SINTA 4 by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

The accreditation was established through Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period III of 2025.

Accreditation validity: SINTA 4 is valid from Volume 1, Number 1 (2024) through Volume 5, Number 2 (2028), as stated in the accreditation decree.
