The main problem faced by the community is the high volume of household organic waste that has not been optimally managed, resulting in environmental pollution and reduced quality of area cleanliness. The lack of community knowledge and skills in processing waste into useful products is a major inhibiting factor. This community service activity aims to provide a solution by processing organic waste into compost as an effort to increase environmental awareness and sustainable waste utilization. The problem-solving method is carried out through stages of socialization, training, direct practice of composting, and mentoring to the community. The composting process is carried out using easily accessible household organic materials. The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding and skills in managing organic waste, as well as the formation of compost fertilizer products that can be used for yard plants. Thus, this activity has proven to be able to solve the problem of organic waste management while supporting the creation of a clean and healthy environment.
