Abstract

This research was conducted at the Management Study Program, Panca Budi Development University. The purpose of the research was to find out how to conduct an Analysis of Student Financial Literacy Levels. The population in the study is students of the Management Study Program of Panca Budi Development University for the 2025/2026 academic year. The number of samples taken in this study was 50 respondents. The research method used in this study, namely a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, is data that is inferred in the form of words, images, not numbers. Based on the results of research on the level of financial literacy of students of the Management Study Program of Panca Budi Development University with a total of 50 students, it can be concluded that the level of financial literacy of students in general is in the medium category. This is shown by the results of the financial literacy classification which shows that as many as 27 students (54%) are in the medium category, 16 students ( 32%) are in the high category, and 7 students (14%) are in the low category. In terms of financial knowledge, the majority of students have understood basic financial concepts such as savings, budget management, loans, and simple investments. However, there are still some students who do not have an optimal understanding of more complex financial products and services. In terms of financial attitudes, most students show a fairly good attitude in managing finances, such as the importance of saving, making financial planning, and prioritizing needs over wants. Meanwhile, in the aspect of financial behavior, the majority of students have implemented financial management quite well in their daily lives, although there are still some students who are not consistent in recording expenses and managing personal budgets. The results of the study show that students of the Social Science Management Study Program, Panca Budi Development University already have a fairly good level of financial literacy, but there is still a need to improve financial management knowledge and skills so that students are able to make wiser, more effective, and responsible financial decisions in the future.
