Author Guidelines
Focus of Human Resource Management (FOHRM) Journal
General Requirements
Manuscripts submitted to Focus of Human Resource Management (FOHRM) Journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submission of a manuscript implies that the work has not been previously published in any form and is not simultaneously submitted to another journal or publisher.
FOHRM Journal publishes manuscripts derived from empirical research, conceptual or theoretical analysis, systematic literature reviews, case-based studies, and practice- or policy-oriented papers within the field of Human Resource Management (HRM) and related organizational disciplines.

Manuscripts should address, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Manuscript Language and Length
Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian using clear, concise, and academic language. The manuscript length must not exceed 14 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
Authors are required to use the official FOHRM Journal article template, which can be downloaded from the journal website.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

Title (in English; an Indonesian title may be added if required)

Author name(s) (without academic titles)

Author affiliation(s) and corresponding author’s email address

Subsections may be included as necessary. Chapter and subsection numbering is not required.
Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should consist of 100–250 words, written in single spacing, and clearly state the research problem, objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.

Manuscripts written in Indonesian must include an abstract in English.

Manuscripts written in English must include abstracts in English and Indonesian.
Provide 3–5 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript and are placed immediately after the abstract.
Tables and Figures
All tables and figures must be:

Cited in the text
-
Numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals
-
Provided with clear titles and captions
Tables and figures should enhance clarity and not duplicate information already presented in the text.
Article Categories
Authors must indicate the appropriate article category upon submission:

Research Paper
Reports original empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. -
Conceptual or Theoretical Paper
Develops new concepts, frameworks, or theoretical perspectives without empirical data. -
Systematic Review Paper
Provides structured and critical reviews of existing literature, including bibliometric studies. -
Case Study or Practice Paper
Describes real organizational practices, HR interventions, or applied experiences. -
Policy Brief
Discusses HR-related policies with clear implications for organizations or policymakers.
Submission and Review Process
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the FOHRM Journal submission system (or official journal email, if applicable). All correspondence, including editorial decisions and revision requests, will be conducted electronically.
FOHRM Journal applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity, quality, and academic rigor.
Revision Policy
Authors are required to submit revised manuscripts within the timeframe specified by the editorial team. Manuscripts returned beyond the specified deadline may be treated as new submissions.

Include only sources cited in the manuscript

Be arranged alphabetically by author surname

Follow APA (7th Edition) citation style
If multiple works by the same author(s) published in the same year are cited, distinguish them using a, b, c, etc.
