Multidisciplinary Journals (MJ) | e-ISSN 3047-8499
Multidisciplinary Journals (MJ) applies a transparent author-fee policy. There is no fee to submit or peer-review a manuscript. An Article Processing Charge of IDR 150,000 per article is payable only after the manuscript has completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication. Payment does not influence reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial decisions, publication priority, or acceptance.
| Charge | Amount | When It Applies |
|---|---|---|
| Manuscript submission | IDR 0 | No payment is required to submit a manuscript through OJS. |
| Editorial screening and peer review | IDR 0 | No fee is charged for initial screening, plagiarism screening, reviewer assignment, or peer review. |
| Article Processing Charge | IDR 150,000 | Charged once per article only after a final acceptance decision has been issued through OJS. |
| Page, colour-figure, and DOI charges | IDR 0 | No separate mandatory charge is imposed for article length within the journal guidelines, colour figures, or DOI assignment. |
| Paid fast-track or guaranteed review | Not offered | MJ does not sell accelerated peer review, guaranteed decisions, guaranteed acceptance, or publication in a specified issue. |
All amounts are stated in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). MJ does not use an automatic USD conversion. Any future change to the APC will be published on this page before it applies and will not be imposed retrospectively on manuscripts submitted under an earlier published fee schedule unless the authors agree in writing.
The APC contributes to the post-acceptance publication process, including editorial administration, copyediting coordination, layout and article production, metadata preparation, DOI administration, online publication, and maintenance of the journal platform. The APC is not a payment to reviewers and is not a payment for acceptance.
The payment form is used solely for post-acceptance financial administration. It does not replace manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, acceptance, or author–editor communication in OJS.
After receiving the official payment notification, the corresponding author must complete the journal-designated administrative form below. The form is shared by several journals, so the author must select “Multidisciplinary Journals – Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu” and choose Regular publication. MJ does not offer a paid fast-track review service.
For security reasons, this policy page does not embed a QR code or reproduce bank-account details. Authors must not transfer funds to personal accounts, unofficial channels, or payment instructions that cannot be matched to an MJ acceptance record or official invoice.
A payment is not considered verified merely because a transfer receipt has been submitted. The journal administration must match the payment record to the accepted manuscript and the payer information.
Official confirmation will be provided through OJS or the author's registered email address. WhatsApp +62 813-7435-0305 may be used for administrative enquiries, but a WhatsApp message alone does not replace the OJS editorial record, formal acceptance letter, invoice, or verified payment receipt. Incorrect, incomplete, altered, or unverifiable payment information will not be processed until the discrepancy is resolved.
A general payment-form tutorial is available through the journal management's social-media channel. The tutorial explains how to complete the administrative form; it does not override this APC policy, the OJS acceptance record, or the amount stated in the official MJ invoice.
If the tutorial, payment form, invoice, and this policy show inconsistent information, authors must pause the transaction and obtain written clarification through the journal contact page or OJS discussion before paying.
Authors who cannot pay the APC because no research, institutional, sponsor, or personal publication funding is reasonably available may request a full or partial waiver. A request should normally be submitted by the corresponding author at the time of initial submission through the OJS “Comments for the Editor” field or the journal's official contact page.
| Circumstance | Refund Treatment |
|---|---|
| Duplicate or excess payment | The verified duplicate or excess amount will be refunded. |
| Payment made without a valid invoice or before acceptance | The journal will investigate the transaction and refund a verified payment received by the publisher when no valid charge was due. |
| Publication cancelled by the journal for administrative reasons | A full refund will normally be issued when cancellation is not caused by author misconduct or a material breach of journal policy. |
| Author withdrawal after payment | Handled under the journal's Manuscript Withdrawal Policy. Any refund depends on whether production work has begun and on costs already incurred. |
| Post-publication correction, expression of concern, or retraction | Does not automatically create a right to an APC refund; the case will be considered under the applicable post-publication and ethics policies. |
A refund request must include the invoice, payment receipt, manuscript identification, reason for the request, and verified payer details. The journal will communicate the outcome in writing.
This page governs author charges only. Peer-review procedures, manuscript withdrawal, publication ethics, copyright and licensing, and appeals are governed by their respective policies:
