Abstract

A common environmental problem encountered in the community is the increasing volume of inorganic waste that has not been optimally managed. This condition is caused by low public awareness of waste sorting and limited knowledge regarding the utilization of inorganic waste. This community service activity aims to increase residents' understanding and skills in managing inorganic waste to create useful value and reduce environmental pollution. The solutions offered include educational activities, inorganic waste management training, and assistance in waste sorting and processing practices. The methods used include environmental observation, community outreach, direct training, and evaluation of activity results. The results of the activity indicate an increase in public awareness of the importance of inorganic waste management and residents' ability to process waste into more useful products. Thus, this inorganic waste processing program can be a solution to reduce environmental problems while encouraging active community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability.
