Journal of Accounting and Management (JAM)  |  e-ISSN 3048-345X

Journal of Accounting and Management (JAM) is published twice a year (biannually). One annual volume consists of two regular issues, published in June and December.

NO. 1 June First regular issue of the annual volume
NO. 2 December Second regular issue of the annual volume

1. Regular Issue Schedule

Issue number Scheduled month Issue designation
Number 1 June Volume [yearly sequence], Number 1
Number 2 December Volume [yearly sequence], Number 2

The issue month identifies the regular publication schedule. The actual online publication date recorded by OJS remains the authoritative date for each issue and article.

2. Publication Model

JAM uses an issue-based publication model. An accepted manuscript is scheduled for an appropriate regular issue after completion of editorial evaluation, peer review, revision, copyediting, layout, author proofreading, metadata verification, and final production checks.

The scheduled issue month does not guarantee acceptance or a particular publication date for a submitted manuscript. Acceptance and issue assignment depend on successful completion of the journal's editorial process, academic quality, ethical compliance, production readiness, and available issue capacity. Detailed procedures are governed by the separate Editorial and Peer Review Policy and Editorial and Publishing Workflow.

3. Timeliness and Publication Records

  • Each regular issue must use a consistent volume, issue number, year, scheduled month, pagination or article numbering system, and issue DOI metadata.
  • Articles must not be marked as published until the final files, bibliographic metadata, licensing information, and publication date are publicly available in OJS.
  • Publication dates must reflect the actual online publication record and must not be backdated or altered to create an inaccurate publication history.
  • The editorial office monitors production progress and issue readiness to maintain the announced June and December schedule.
  • The official archive is the authoritative public record of the journal's published volumes and issues.

Current continuity record: JAM began with Volume 1, Number 1 in June 2024 and has continued the annual volume sequence. The official archive includes Volume 3, Number 1 (Juni 2026), published online on 11 June 2026 with issue DOI 10.70963/jam.v3i1.

4. Delays and Schedule Changes

If an unavoidable technical, operational, legal, ethical, or research-integrity matter materially delays a regular issue, JAM will preserve the correct volume and issue sequence and record the actual publication date. When appropriate, the journal will publish a notice explaining the delay without disclosing confidential manuscript or investigation information.

Any permanent change to the publication frequency or scheduled months must be approved through journal governance, announced before taking effect, and applied prospectively. The change must be updated consistently on the journal website and, where applicable, in ISSN, DOI, indexing, archiving, and preservation records. Previously published issue metadata must not be rewritten merely to simulate compliance with a new schedule.

5. Special or Supplementary Issues

A special or supplementary issue may be published only when academically justified and clearly identified. It does not replace either of the two regular issues and does not change JAM's biannual publication frequency.

Manuscripts considered for a special or supplementary issue remain subject to the journal's normal scope, originality, ethical, conflict-of-interest, editorial-independence, and peer-review requirements. Guest involvement, sponsorship, or thematic collaboration must not guarantee acceptance or weaken editorial standards.

Policy boundary: This page defines only the number and timing of regular issues, the issue-based publication model, and schedule-management principles. It does not replace the Journal History, Author Guidelines, peer-review policy, publication workflow, APC policy, or publication-ethics policies.
