Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu holds institutional responsibility for the journal title, publishing program, journal website, and continuity of JAM. The journal is not owned by an individual editor, editorial-board member, author, reviewer, sponsor, advertising provider, or commercial intermediary.
Institutional ownership of the journal does not transfer copyright in an author's article to the university. Copyright ownership and publication licensing are governed separately by JAM's Copyright and Licensing Policy.
The publisher establishes the institutional framework for JAM and appoints qualified editorial leadership. Day-to-day academic management is delegated to the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board in accordance with the journal's published policies. Administrative and production support may be provided by the journal office and LPPJPHKI without displacing editorial responsibility.
The publisher is responsible for supporting conditions that allow JAM to operate reliably, transparently, and ethically. Its responsibilities include:
The publisher does not determine whether an individual manuscript is accepted or rejected. Final editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriately assigned independent editor and must be based on relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, evidence, and scholarly contribution. The identity, institutional affiliation, nationality, reputation, financial status, or payment status of an author must not influence the decision.
Detailed manuscript-handling authority and peer-review procedures are stated in the Editorial and Peer Review Policy.
JAM may receive institutional operational support and may apply author charges disclosed on its official website. Any fee is an administrative publishing matter and does not purchase acceptance, favorable review, citation, expedited scholarly judgment, or placement in a particular issue. The applicable amount, timing, payment channel, and related conditions are stated only on the Article Processing Charge page.
If advertising, sponsorship, reprints, collaborations, or other revenue-generating activities are accepted, they must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Such arrangements must not influence reviewer selection, editorial decisions, publication timing, article conclusions, or post-publication actions. Editors and reviewers must not be informed of an author's payment status unless strictly necessary for an administrative function unrelated to academic evaluation.
Concerns about journal administration, publisher conduct, ownership disclosure, editorial interference, fees, communication, or other governance matters may be submitted through the journal's official contact channel. A complaint concerning the Editor-in-Chief should be handled by an authorized publisher representative who was not involved in the disputed matter. A complaint concerning the publisher should be referred to an appropriate senior authority of Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu who is independent of the subject of the complaint.
Procedural requirements and available review channels are described in the Appeals and Complaints Policy.
This statement should be reviewed whenever ownership, the institutional publisher, the management unit, the principal journal contact, or the governance arrangement changes, and otherwise at least annually. Material changes must be communicated transparently and reflected consistently in the journal website, ISSN records, DOI metadata, indexing services, preservation arrangements, contracts, and policy pages as applicable.
This page defines publisher identity, ownership, governance, and accountability only. It does not replace the journal's separate policies concerning editorial review, publication ethics, copyright and licensing, author fees, privacy, digital preservation, corrections, retractions, or complaints.
