Digital Preservation and Archiving

Jurnal Pusat Manajemen (PUSMAN) · e-ISSN 3048-3840

Jurnal Pusat Manajemen (PUSMAN) preserves published content and metadata so that the scholarly record remains accessible if the journal platform changes or becomes unavailable. The ISSN Keepers record reports preservation by the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) for the journal’s archived issues.

Preservation mechanisms

  • ISSN Portal / Keepers Registry record for e-ISSN 3048-3840 documents preservation status.
  • PKP Preservation Network provides distributed preservation for eligible OJS journals.
  • OJS stores publication metadata, article files, issue data, review and production records under role-based access controls.
  • DOI registration and Crossref metadata support persistent identification and recovery of article-level bibliographic records.
  • The OAI interface and journal archive support metadata harvesting and independent discovery.

File and metadata stewardship

The journal maintains the published version of record in durable, widely usable formats and preserves essential metadata, licenses, links, corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions. Updated versions remain transparently linked to earlier publication history.

Operational backup and recovery

The publisher maintains controlled platform and database backups according to institutional information-technology procedures. Access to backups is restricted, restoration is tested periodically, and production changes are documented. Preservation copies are not used to hide or silently replace the public record.

Continuity

If publication ceases or the platform migrates, the publisher will seek to maintain the journal archive, DOI resolution, metadata, and preservation access. Essential post-publication notices will remain linked to affected articles whenever technically and legally possible.

Preservation status is evidence of archiving, not accreditation. Discovery services are listed separately in Indexing and Abstracting.
